Role Description/Criteria

St Luke's is a vibrant learning community seeking an additional team member to support our children and enable all to successfully access the curriculum. The successful applicant will be supported in a strong team environment to further enhance the well-being of our children and to provide learning opportunities for all our children.

Special Requirements:

  • experience in the area of Learning Support in a school
  • certificate or equivalent qualification in the Learning Support area
  • demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education
  • ability to promote and cultivate a respectful learning environment, inclusive of all
  • current Working With Children Check card
  • commitment to Child Safety Standards

The role of Learning Support Officer Category B is 1.0 FTE 

Commencement date:  As soon as possible to the start of the 2026 school year.

Please submit a short cover letter to introduce yourself to the principal along with your resume and the names and contact details for two current referees. Referee details are required before an application will be considered. 

We are looking for a person who has experience in schools working 1:1 with children, implementing intervention in small groups and supporting teachers and children in whole class settings.
