Role Description/Criteria
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Education Support Officer (ESO CatB) Administration Assistant to join our team and support the smooth and professional operation of our school. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to supporting a positive and welcoming school community.
The Education Support Officer (ESO CatB) Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily school operations, maintaining accurate records, assisting staff and families, and ensuring efficient administrative processes. The successful applicant will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively within a Catholic education environment.

Applicants are required to address the following criteria:
- Previous experience within a MACS environment: Demonstrated understanding of MACS policies, procedures, and operational expectations, with experience supporting school leadership and contributing to a student-centred culture
- Knowledge of school-based systems: Strong working knowledge of school administrative platforms, including enrolment systems, student information databases, attendance processes, and reporting tools, with the ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Proficiency within a Microsoft environment: High level of competence using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint to manage communication, documentation, data, and collaborative workflows.
- Stakeholder management skills: Proven ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, families, and external partners, demonstrating clear communication, professionalism, and a commitment to high-quality service
- School Finance: Proven ability to undertake school finance tasks, such as banking, receipting, accounts receivable (debtors) and accounts payable (creditors)
- Open to Working with Children Check and Police Check
