The position

Loreto Toorak is seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of our School.  The Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members of our school community, visitors and the general public both in person and over the phone.  As the first point of contact, you’ll play a critical role in creating a positive and inclusive environment.  This busy role also assists with a range of daily administration tasks.

Loreto Toorak main Reception operates from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The reception team comprises two staff members. The hours of work for this position are 7:45am to 5:00pm on Mondays, and 7:45am to 3:50pm from Tuesday to Friday. The Receptionist is required to work during school holidays.

About You

The ideal candidate will thrive on creating a positive first impression and enjoy working in a busy, collaborative and supportive environment.  You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong administration and interpersonal skills.  Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
