Role Description/Criteria

Applications are sought for the position of Alumni Relations and Engagement Coordinator. This role plays a key role in cultivating a connected, vibrant, and active alumni community that strengthens lifelong relationships with Padua College. This position oversees the effective management of alumni data and communication systems, delivers purposeful engagement initiatives, and supports meaningful opportunities for past students to reconnect with the College, leading the planning and delivery of alumni campaigns, communications, events, social media activity, and digital engagement initiatives. This is a Level 3 Category C ongoing part time Education Support Employee position (0.60 FTE) to commence as soon as practicable.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Alumni Relations & Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in cultivating a connected, vibrant, and active alumni community that strengthens lifelong relationships with Padua College. This position oversees the effective management of alumni data and communication systems, delivers purposeful engagement initiatives, and supports meaningful opportunities for past students to reconnect with the College.

Working collaboratively with Marketing, Events, and College Leadership, the position leads the planning and delivery of alumni campaigns, communications, events, social media activity, and digital engagement initiatives. The role is responsible for managing alumni data systems, strengthening communication channels, and coordinating purposeful alumni involvement in College life.

A key focus of the position is creating meaningful opportunities for alumni–student interaction that enrich learning and inspire current students. This includes identifying opportunities for Alumni to engage with students, curating, and promoting alumni stories, achievements, and digital content that showcase the impact of Padua graduates reinforcing the College’s positioning, and community spirit. The role is responsible for building and maintaining a database of alumni members, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding and ongoing engagement. The position also provides reporting, administrative support, and budget management across alumni initiatives, with a strategic lens on continuous improvement. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is occasionally required to support College and alumni events.

The Alumni Relations & Engagement Coordinator is under the Director of Business and reports directly to the Head of Marketing and Enrolments.


MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

In conjunction with the Head of Marketing and Enrolments, the responsibilities of the Alumni Relations & Engagement Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Alumni Database and CRM Management: manage the Alumnly database and implementation of alumni engagement program to strengthen connections with new and existing alumni, driving engagement and annual growth

• Alumni Relations and Events: build and nurture strong, positive relationships with alumni across multiple graduating years, locations, and interest groups.

• Communications and Digital Engagement: develop and deliver an annual alumni engagement and communications plan aligned with College strategic goals. Develop and manage alumni communication channels including social media and website to engage target audiences.

• Administration and Reporting: prepare reports on alumni engagement activities, event outcomes, and participation metrics.

• Other duties: undertake additional tasks and implement decisions as directed by the Principal, College Improvement Team or the Head of Marketing and Enrolments.

SALARY REMUNERATION: According to the CEMEA 2022, $78,988.00 - $89,499.00 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
