Role Description/Criteria
St. John XXIII is seeking applications from teachers who have a passion for learning and teaching using evidence based pedagogy. This is a fixed term position, 2 full days. We are seeking a teacher who is excited about being part of a dynamic learning community dedicated to building foundational knowledge and learner dispositions for all students to succeed. The successful applicant will commence at the beginning of the Term 2 school term with the position concluding at the end of the 2026 school year.

The successful applicant will possess:
• an ability to contribute and work in collaborative teams to improve student learning outcomes
• a knowledge and experience of the Victorian Curriculum and evidenced-based learning
• an ability to plan and implement engaging learning experiences for all students
• proficiency in the use of technology to enhance student learning
• current VIT registration, or an evidenced ability to gain registration prior to commencement
• accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or be committed to undertaking required further study
• willingness to comply with the school's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct
