Role Description/Criteria

Applications are invited for this re-advertised casual Education Support Employee (ESE) position:

 

* CHIEF EXAMINATION SUPERVISOR

 

Chief supervisors have the overall responsibility for the conduct and administration of Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA) VCE Examinations (October - November) and for the General Achievement Test (June); as set out in the VCAA VCE Examination manual, and any other instructions provided by the VCAA and the College.

Among other duties, the responsibilities include:

• In conjunction with school personnel, ensuring that all exam assistant supervisors are

      - Appropriately briefed on the procedures for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments

      - Capable of carrying out the responsibilities of the chief supervisor should they be required to step into the role at short notice.

• Ensuring the secure storage and collection of external assessment materials

• Reconciling all external assessment materials ensuring they are stored in a dedicated secure locked repository according to VCAA requirement

• Ensuring that all response material is collected and packed according to VCAA requirements

• The safekeeping and handing over of the completed response material to the VCAA courier

• Ensuring they have a clear understanding of the provisions for any student with approved Special Examination Arrangements

• Understanding of the College-specific emergency procedures (evacuations and lockdowns) in place during VCE external assessments

 

The full terms and conditions are in accordance with the CEMEA (2022). ESE Level 3 (to be confirmed).

Upon commencement the successful applicant will have obtained a valid Working with Children Check (Employee status) and National Police Record Check.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
