Role Description/Criteria

Killester College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Intervention

Teacher. This role is suited to an educator who is committed to helping students

achieve their full potential through targeted academic support and inclusive teaching

practices.

 

This is a full-time fixed term engagement through to the end of the school year, with

scope for continuation.

 

The Learning Intervention Teacher will support students with diverse learning needs

within a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework, working collaboratively

with classroom teachers, families and wellbeing teams. Responsibilities include

delivering targeted intervention, conducting diagnostic assessments and case

management.

 

The successful candidate will play a key role in building student confidence,

independence and growth. Applicants must be qualified teachers with VIT

registration, with preference given to those holding postgraduate qualifications in

Learning Intervention or a related field, or working towards a Masters degree.
