An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and student-centred Wellbeing Support Officer to join our Wellbeing Team. This role plays a vital part in supporting student engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and positive learning outcomes through collaborative partnerships with students, families and staff.
This a full time ongoing position to commence asap.
As the Wellbeing Support Officer, you will:
- Support the wellbeing, engagement and inclusion of students across the College.
- Build positive and professional relationships with students, families and staff.
- Assist in identifying and responding to student wellbeing concerns and support needs.
- Work collaboratively with Heads of Students, teachers and external agencies to support student outcomes.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A genuine commitment to student wellbeing and child safety.
- Experience working with young people in an educational, wellbeing, youth work, community services or related setting.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with students, families and staff.
