Role Description/Criteria
OLSH College Bentleigh is an independent Catholic secondary school for girls with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the College is built on a tradition of 88 years of inspiring excellence at the Heart of girls' education.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for contract replacement teaching positions commencing in Term 3, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available in;
- Humanities
- English
- Religious Education
- Sciences
Applicants with the ability to teach at senior levels will be highly regarded. Combinations of the above methods are welcomed.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- a strong commitment to Catholic education
- a commitment to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of children and young people
- the skills and qualities required to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
- a collaborative and collegial approach to teaching and learning within a team environment
Successful candidates will be appropriately qualified, enthusiastic educators with the capacity to engage and support students across a range of abilities. They will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute positively to the pastoral care of students while supporting and upholding the ethos and values of the College community.
Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and must have the right to work in Australia.
