Role Description/Criteria

St Mary's Primary School is seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our teaching team as a Learning Enhancement teacher, supporting years 3-6 in the Targeted Teaching of English and Mathematics.

The position is part time (FTE: 0.6 TBC) and will commence at the beginning of 2027. Days of employment will be Tuesday (full day), Mon, Wednesday, Thursday (1:45 pm finish TBC).

The successful applicant will:

  • have a passion for teaching English and Mathematics as the building blocks for learning
  • have a passion for differentiating learning and teaching and supporting students through intervention
  • have strong data literacy skills 
  • be a a great communicator and have proven experience in working in teaching teams
  • have a current VIT Registration, Provisional Registration or Permission to Teach
