2027 CLASSROOM TEACHING POSITIONS

St Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic Primary School is a Catholic primary school owned and operated by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). We are located in Victoria's fastest-growing and most dynamic urban growth corridor, just 40 minutes from Melbourne CBD. 

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic, innovative teachers. These are ongoing teaching positions. The salary for this position is $79,589 - $118,063, based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

We are looking for classroom teachers who can develop nurturing relationships with children and positive relationships with colleagues and parents. They must be open to professional growth and learning and have the capacity to provide targeted, explicit learning opportunities for children. These positions will commence on January 28, 2027.

Australian or New Zealand and/or graduate teachers are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • a Bachelor of Education or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • a commitment to Catholic education.
  • an ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • an ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students.
  • a capacity to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support student learning
  • a willingness to work collaboratively and an eagerness to learn.
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All new staff must complete an induction program prior to commencement. Staff in our school must adhere to the MACS Child Safe policies and procedures.
