We are seeking a passionate and engaging Economics and Accounting Teacher to join our learning community. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who can bring Economics and Accounting to life, helping students understand how businesses, markets and financial decisions shape the world around them.

 

This is an ongoing full time position from 2027.

 

You will:

  • Deliver engaging Economics and Accounting learning experiences that connect theory to real-world issues and opportunities.
  • Develop students’ analytical, financial and critical-thinking skills through purposeful learning and practical application.
  • Plan and deliver differentiated learning that challenges and supports students to achieve their potential.
  • Contribute collaboratively to curriculum development, assessment and the ongoing improvement of the learning area.

 

We want to hear from you if you are an educator who has:

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and current VIT registration, with relevant Economics and/or Accounting teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make economic and financial concepts relevant, accessible and engaging for students.
  • A passion for helping young people develop the knowledge and skills to understand and navigate the economic and business world.
  • A collaborative and positive approach, with a commitment to Catholic education and the values of Compassion, Justice, Hope, Truth and Love.
