Role Description/Criteria
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and qualified Physical Education Teacher who will also be able to lead whole school sporting events. Our vision encompasses catering for each student's needs while encouraging collaboration and action. The position will commence on 27th January 2027.

Application Procedure
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the part-time (0.22 FTE), ongoing position of Physical Education Teacher, commencing 27 January 2027.
Key Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- A commitment to Catholic education, child safety and wellbeing, and the St Kevin’s Staff Code of Conduct.
- The ability to provide engaging, inclusive and high-quality Physical Education learning experiences for students of diverse abilities.
- Knowledge and application of evidence-informed practice, including direct and explicit teaching aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction.
- The ability to use assessment and data to inform teaching, differentiate learning and maintain high expectations for all students.
- The ability to create calm, positive and engaging learning environments, with an understanding of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).
- A passion for Physical Education, sport, health and wellbeing, encouraging active participation, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and a willingness to support school sporting events, interschool sport and other Physical Education opportunities within the school community.
- Appropriate qualifications and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
