Role Description/Criteria

We are seeking an experienced classroom teacher to join our welcoming and collaborative school community.
Teachers at St Mary’s design and deliver high-quality, evidence-informed learning programs aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement. They are committed to supporting the academic, spiritual, social and emotional growth of every student while creating engaging learning environments characterised by high expectations, positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging.

They use data and evidence to inform teaching, respond to individual learning needs and ensure all students are appropriately supported and challenged. Experience in the following areas is preferred, but not essential:
- Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)
- InitiaLit
- Explicit Instruction

This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of becoming ongoing in 2028.
