Role Description/Criteria

Classroom Position

The school is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated classroom teachers to join our learning community in full time classroom teaching positions (Graduates are encouraged to apply). 
 

The positions will commence on 27th January 2027. St John Vianney’s Primary School is a welcoming school that works together to provide an excellent education in a faith filled community. About the Role

The successful applicants will be required to work collaboratively with others to develop and implement high quality and engaging teaching programs to cater for the diverse needs and learning styles of all children in the class.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Catholic Church
  • demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and form positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • collaboratively plan and work in a team with flexibility, creativity, passion and enthusiasm
  • be able to motivate and engage students in purposeful learning
  • have a sound understanding of current educational practice
  • have an ability to use data to improve student learning
  • integrate a range of digital learning technologies
  • demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children in accordance with Child Safe standards

Special Requirements

  • VIT Registration or Provisional Registration to Teach (or in the process of obtaining it)
  • Accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to obtain the necessary qualifications
