Role Description/Criteria

Stella Maris School is a collaborative, vibrant and dynamic Catholic school and we warmly welcome interest and applications from suitably qualified teachers. (possibility of Mathematics' leadership)
 

Role Description

We are in search of a teacher who is committed to:
• Nurturing a faith community within a Catholic context.

• The care, safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

• Providing students with a rich and rewarding learning experience.

• Delivering contemporary learning with a focus on differentiated teaching.

• Understanding and utilising the content from the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and Vision for Instruction MACS.

• Developing positive and meaningful relationships with students, staff and the wider school community.

• Using purposeful assessment that provides data to drive and plan future teaching.

• Supporting the school community to develop and nurture our culture of welcome and inclusion.

Child Safety
Stella Maris has a zero tolerance for child abuse and all adults in our school have a responsibility to care for children and young people, to positively promote their wellbeing and to protect them from any kind of harm or abuse.

b. A Curriculum Vitae including educational referees and current employer referees

c. VIT accreditation number.  Applicants must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and agree to uphold our Child Safety Code of Conduct. Accreditation to teach Religious Education is an advantage.
