Role Description/Criteria

The successful applicant will be willing and able to fulfil the following Key Selection Criteria:  (Please address the selection criteria in your application)

  • Commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic Education (accredited to teach RE or a willingness to undertake accreditation)
  • Display enthusiasm, motivation and team oriented behaviours
  • Understanding of contemporary educational practice (Science of Learning)
  • Demonstrate some understanding of EAL-informed practice
  • Plan lessons with curriculum leaders, in a team and independently
  • Analyse and interpret data for planning and differentiation
  • Openness to ongoing learning and development
  • Plan for and/or support the use of a range of activities and resources to provide meaningful learning opportunities for all students
  • Put social justice into action
  • Uphold our school’s child safety policies, contribute to a culture of inclusion and respect and ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students is a priority in their everyday practice.
