The successful applicant will:

  • Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualifications 
  • have a strong committment to the ethos and values of Catholic Education
  • have, be undertaking or intend to undertake Religious Education Accreditation.
  • be a lifelong learner
  • be enthusiastic, motivated and team orientated
  • implement contemporary learning practices
  • work in partnership with families
  • Experience in the field of English as an Additional Language is an advantage.
  • PBL - Positive Behaviour for Learning experience

Special Requirements:

  • Christ the King School promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children. 
  • The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration. 
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred. 
  • Contact details of two referees.

Salary:  Based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education MultiEnterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA)
