Role Description/Criteria
St John the Apostle Catholic Primary School is located in Tarneit West and opened in 2015. We belong to the Parish of St Andrew’s Werribee and our vision states:

We are seeking an Art teacher who has a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of the students. Our school has a dedicated Art Classroom that has been refurbished to ensure it is a functional space which has versatile storage and durable, easily cleaned surfaces.
This is a fixed term, part time position for Term 4, 2025 (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). There is potential for the position to increase to full time in 2026. Any final year teaching students on track to graduate, are welcome to apply for the position.
The successful applicant must demonstrate:
- An ability to plan and implement a Visual Arts Program from Prep – Year 6
- The aptitude to manage the budgets and resourcing required for this area of the curriculum
- Strong classroom management and a talent for promoting positive student behaviour
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to be flexible
- The capacity to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
