Role Description/Criteria

We are a seeking a leader who is able to work in partnership with home group teachers to implement aspects of learning including: 

  • Collaborate closely with the Leadership Team to shape and implement a contemporary, student-centred curriculum aligned with the MACS 2030 Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.
  • Lead the development and refinement of high-impact teaching practices informed by the Science of Learning, driving improved student outcomes.
  • Inspire and mentor staff, cultivating a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and innovation.
  • Champion the wellbeing, safety, and holistic development of every student through a commitment to inclusive and high-quality learning.

We are looking for a passionate Catholic leader who demonstrates:

  • A deep commitment to the mission, identity, and ethos of Catholic education.
  • Proven experience in instructional leadership and curriculum development.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and build strong relationships.
  • A clear, strategic vision for learning that positively impacts student achievement and school improvement.
  • Accreditation to Teach and Lead in a Catholic school.

Special Requirements

The successful applicant must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and have your Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School, or willing to undertake accreditation, is preferred.
