Role Description/Criteria

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Italian teacher to join our team. You will teach students of all levels for one hour each week, inspiring them with the richness of the Italian language. With a well-equipped, designated classroom and a variety of resources at your disposal, you will have everything you need to succeed. There are also opportunities to get involved in promoting Italian culture across the school throughout the year. We are looking for someone who can bring their enthusiasm to the classroom and make learning fun.

Key Selection Criteria 

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an engaging and developmentally appropriate Italian language program.
  • A commitment to the Catholic ethos and capacity to support the school’s mission.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Knowledge of effective pedagogy for language acquisition in primary settings.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional and faith formation.
  • Understanding of and commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion.
