Role Description/Criteria

Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School is seeking a passionate and motivated teacher to join our growing, innovative and dynamic school community in 2026. 

Established in 2018, our school serves the diverse and vibrant community of Craigieburn West in Melbourne’s north. We are proud to support a multicultural student population, including many newly arrived families. With four classes at each year level, our team-based structure supports strong collaboration and shared responsibility for student learning.

To be considered for this positions, applicants must:

  • Have an understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and be committed to its mission
  • Be committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care
  • Hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Either hold, be undertaking, or be willing to undertake accreditation to teach Religious Education

  • A capacity to use data to inform and implement engaging and empowering learning for all students
  • An understanding of contemporary educational practice
