Role Description/Criteria

We are looking for a passionate full-time teacher to join our innovative and dedicated school for the 2026 school year. Our school utilises an explicit teaching model to engage students and enhance their learning outcomes and we are seeking a teacher who shares this commitment. We believe this evidence-based approach, which involves clear and direct instruction, is key to helping students master new concepts and build a strong foundation for future academic success.

The ideal candidate will have the skills and abilities to provide a rich and rewarding educational experience for students and will embrace a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.

The successful applicant will:
• have a strong commitment to the Catholic Identity of the school and sacramental programs

• be able to work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships

• have the capacity to implement evidence based practices

• be able to plan and implement highly structured programs in Literacy and Numeracy

• be able to cater for a range of student needs through the multi-tiered systems of support

• have a willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities

• be committed to building strong partnerships between families and school

• be committed to ongoing professional learning

• have an understanding that our school community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students in our care.

Special Requirements

• accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to undertake studies

• current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration

• include the contact details of two referees
