Role Description/Criteria

St Mary's community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. Duties will include supporting students in the classroom under teacher direction, working with individual students and small groups and other duties directed by the Principal and LD Leader.

The successful applicant should:

  • Successfully  completed of a Certificate 4 in Education Support, or equivalent, is preferred, but not essential
  • be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
  • willingness to adhere to St Mary's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359
