The successful applicant will have:

  • A strong commitment to Catholic Education and Catholic Identity.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or willingness to gain accreditation).
  • A willingness to be actively involved in the life of the school and Parish.
  • Exemplary teaching skills and the ability to engage all learners.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-informed teaching & learning and the Victorian Curriculum.
  • Capacity to embed student voice, agency, and Catholic values in learning and school life.
  • Commitment to timely assessment and data-informed planning for student growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the Parish.
  • Effective classroom management and collaborative teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflection.
  • Experience using SeeSaw for reflection and sharing learning (desirable).
  • Understanding of AITSL standards and expectations of professional teachers.
  • Relevant qualifications and ability to teach at all levels.
