Role Description/Criteria

Holy Spirit is a welcoming student centred learning community committed to nurturing and supporting the faith journey of all.

We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic teacher to join our community. We encourage new ideas and building the capacity of our staff as a priority. Applicants for this position require:

• a commitment to supporting the faith journey and experiences of all in our Catholic Community.

• a good knowledge of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies to ensure student engagement.

• a positive approach to building relationships with children, parents and staff and a willingness to contribute to an environment that supports families to feel welcome and safe.

• The ability to plan and assess effective curriculum that addresses the diverse needs of students.

• a commitment to ongoing professional learning and personal improvement, including a willingness to give and receive feedback that promotes learning.

• a willingness to be an active, positive and supportive member of our staff and be committed to the vision and ethos of our school.

• a passion for education and providing engaging learning experiences that challenge children to think, own their learning and achieve their personal best.

• an interest in working as a team with staff and in partnership with parents to foster excellence in learning.

• the ability to be organised and well planned.

• a willingness and interest in being a part of the life of the school, including occasional out of hours and extra curricula activities.
