Role Description/Criteria
St Clement of Rome Primary School, Bulleen is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Officers to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our students' learning and contributing to the positive, vibrant culture of our school community.

St Clement of Rome Primary School is a warm and friendly Catholic primary school situated in Bulleen. 456 students attend St Clement's, and we have 22 classes from Prep - 6. We have a diverse group of students and a passionate, enthusiastic staff committed to high-quality teaching and learning. At St Clement of Rome, we believe that all students can learn with the right support in place.
We are seeking an LSO who brings a positive approach to learning and teaching, a genuine belief that all students can learn, and can demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability to adjust to the changing needs of students and classes.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Collaborate within an education environment, liaising with Classroom Teachers, the Learning Diversity Leader, and other Learning Support Staff.
- Support the learning of students with additional needs in the classroom, attending to adjustments outlined in Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs).
- Assist with supervising students during excursions, camps, and on yard duty at recess and lunchtime.

Special Requirements
Applicants must hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Please Note
- There is more than one Learning Support position available, depending on the successful applicant's availability.
- The successful applicants will be employed for 2 or 3 days per week. Particular days can be negotiated with the school.
- We are seeking successful applicants to start as soon as possible with a view to continuing into 2026.
