Role Description/Criteria
The community of St Bernard's Parish Primary School is seeking a Grade 1 Classroom Teacher to commence in 2026.

- have a sound knowledge of current best practice and the Victorian Curriculum
- have the capacity to make adjustments for a diverse range of learning needs
- able to work as part of teams
- able to build and maintain ongoing positive relationships with colleagues, parents and children
- committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- prepared to be active in our school community
Special Requirements
The successful applicant should:
- be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
- be committed to adhere to St Bernard's Parish Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359
- hold a current VIT registration
- Religious Education Accreditation (or evidence of working towards this) would be considered an advantage
