Role Description/Criteria
OLSH College Bentleigh is an independent Catholic secondary school for girls with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the College is built on a tradition of 87 years of inspiring excellence at the Heart of girls' education.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for the following full-time, ongoing position of:
Psychology/Science Teacher
Commencing Term 1, 2026
The ability to teach VCE Psychology is essential.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide our OLSH students with a rich and rewarding educational experience. This will mean the applicant is ready to be collegial and able to embrace a team based approach to teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to develop and deliver Psychology and Science expertise to a range of students with varying abilities. In addition, the successful candidate will be willing and able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the College and its environment.
The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration or qualify for this registration and must have the right to work in Australia.
