Role Description/Criteria

We seek a Graduate teacher to join our school in 2026!

This is an exciting time to join Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School as we have begin to implement the Science of Learning and the MACS Vision of Instruction and Vision of Engagement. 

In 2026, all classes at Mother Teresa will move into straight classes. Classroom teachers will receive 5 hours planning (4 as a team facilitated and 1 hour individual time) with Graduate teachers receiving additional time & support from a school based VIT Mentor.  

The successful applicant will demonstrate the capacity to:

Applicants are required to:

  • Be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or be willing to undertake this accreditation
  • Hold current VIT registration
  • Show a commitment to ongoing professional learning
  • Be committed to engaging in collaborative and facilitate team planning
