Role Description/Criteria
Commencing January 2026, the successful applicant will join an open-plan Primary School setting. We are seeking a collaborative team player who is committed to the best interests of the school and its students. Comprehensive induction and hand over will be provided at the start of the role.
The position involves working closely with the current Homeroom teachers, where effective communication and strong documentation skills are essential. Responsibilities will include lesson preparation, assessment, report writing, and other teaching duties in partnership with your co-teacher. The school follows the Victorian Curriculum, as well as the MACS Religious Education Curriculum.
We are seeking Graduate teachers who believe in evidence-based teaching strategies and have knowledge about explicit teaching practices. You'll have the opportunity to receive:
- DIBELS professional development
- Training in UFLI, EMP program, Ochre units
- Ongoing instructional coaching
- A full day of planning release each week in a collaborative team setting
- Extensive training in Positive Behaviours for Learning and professional development
All applicants must demonstrate compliance with Child Safety Standards and hold current VIT registration.
