Role Description/Criteria
This is a full-time, fixed term position for a middle school.
The successful applicant must be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or be willing to undertake Accreditation studies and be able to demonstrate:
• a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education
• a commitment to learning and continuous improvement
• an ability to work as part of a professional learning team and a commitment to engaging in professional dialogue
• a willingness to embrace contemporary learning and teaching practices
• an ability to incorporate Digital Technology skills into the classroom
• the ability to gather, analyse and use data to improve teacher practice and student outcomes
This position is currently being offered for 2026.
Special Requirements
The successful applicant must:
• hold current VIT Registration
• have a strong knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and commitment to child safety
