Role Description/Criteria
The successful applicant will support teachers to plan, implement and review learning programs and resources to ensure they are accessible, differentiated and responsive to student needs. A key part of this role is the case management of students, coordinating their learning supports, communicating with families and external professionals, facilitating Parent Support Group meetings, monitoring student progress, and ensuring Personalised Learning Plans (PLP) are developed, implemented, reviewed and adjusted as required.
The Learning Diversity Leader will be a member of the Leadership Team, Teaching and Learning Team and the NCCD Team. The successful applicant will work together to manage all aspects of the Learning Diversity program as outlined in the position description attached. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become ongoing in 2027.
Qualifications and Experience
- Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the NCCD process and requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and MACS policies, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and Disability Standards for Education 2005.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
