Role Description/Criteria

Experienced and Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

This position will commence on January 27, 2026.

Key Selection Criteria:

Please elaborate on your experience and/or understanding of the following areas:

  • A strong commitment to the Catholic Identity of the school
  • Successful approaches to student wellbeing in the classroom and school community
  • Knowledge and implementation of the current Child Safety Standards
  • Contributing to a collaborative, positive and team-based learning culture 
  • Delivering high quality learning and teaching to a range of educational abilities, using evidence-based strategies, including the use of data and feedback

Knowledge and expertise in implementing MACS Vision for Instruction and MACS Vision for Engagement will be highly regarded.

Special Requirements

The successful applicant should:

  • hold accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School (strongly preferred); a commitment to obtain accreditation may be considered
  • be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
  • demonstrate a willingness to adhere to St Bede's Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy, MACS Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359
  • be appropriately qualified and hold a current VIT registration
