Role Description/Criteria
The Resurrection School community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all young people.
Suitably qualified applicants who will make a positive contribution to our professional learning culture, work collaboratively in teams and have a passion for education in an EAL community are encouraged to apply. The role will be a fulltime, on-going position with a two year Leadership appointment (POL 2 with no classroom duties) commencing on January 27th, 2026.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- an understanding of, and commitment to, child safety and student wellbeing
- active and collaborative promotion the Catholic identity of the school
- the capacity to lead a whole school approach to learning excellence
- the ability to build positive relationships with all students, staff and families through effective communication and engagement
- familiarity with system priorities
- an understanding of leadership in an EAL community
- positive strategies which cater for student needs through targeted, differentiated learning and teaching
- a commitment to ongoing professional improvement and life-long learning
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- the ability to work collaboratively within teams as a leader and member
Application Procedure
Requirements:
- accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School
- VIT registration
- experience as a School Leader
- relevant Leadership experience/suitable qualifications
- experience working with EAL learners is an advantage
