Role Description/Criteria

The Resurrection School community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all young people.

Suitably qualified applicants who will make a positive contribution to our professional learning culture, work collaboratively in teams and have a passion for education in an EAL community are encouraged to apply. The role will be a fulltime, on-going position with a two year Leadership appointment (POL 2 with no classroom duties) commencing on January 27th, 2026.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • a strong commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education
  • an understanding of, and commitment to, child safety and student wellbeing
  • active and collaborative promotion the Catholic identity of the school
  • the capacity to lead a whole school approach to learning excellence
  • the ability to build positive relationships with all students, staff and families through effective communication and engagement
  • familiarity with system priorities
  • an understanding of leadership in an EAL community
  • positive strategies which cater for student needs through targeted, differentiated learning and teaching
  • a commitment to ongoing professional improvement and life-long learning
  • excellent communication and organisational skills
  • the ability to work collaboratively within teams as a leader and member

Requirements:

  • accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School
  • VIT registration
  • experience as a School Leader
  • relevant Leadership experience/suitable qualifications
  • experience working with EAL learners is an advantage
