Role Description/Criteria
St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking an highly motivated and enthusiastic Music teacher to join our school part time in 2026. The successful applicant will be required to:
- demonstrate commitment to the Catholic ethos and be willing to actively support the faith life of the school community.
- have a thorough understanding of the Victorian Curriculum, particularly in the areas of Music.
- plan and deliver engaging, Music learning experiences that foster curiosity and creativity.
- differentiate teaching to cater for the diverse learning needs, abilities and interests of all students.
- use assessment and data to inform teaching practice and report on student progress in line with the Victorian Curriculum.
- have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- participate in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a collaborative school culture focused on continuous improvement.
- demonstrate understanding of and commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusion in accordance with the Child Safe Standards.

Special Requirements
VIT registration
Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or willingness to do so.
