Role Description/Criteria

All Applicants must:

Be strongly committed to the Catholic Faith

Understand and support the Catholic ethos and the vision of the school

Be familiar with all policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with students, staff and parents

Work with the principal and other staff to promote the continuous improvement of the school

Share highly developed digital technologies skills

Be familiar with planning and assessing curriculum, demonstrate teaching skills to improve student achievement /development, and capably report this to parents

Be strongly committed to working collaboratively with other staff members.

The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
Accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (willing to study for accreditation)
Committed to the use and analysis of data to inform teaching
Adhere to our Child Safety Policy and MACS Code of Conduct and other policies
 

Provide a cover letter, current CV/resume and the contact details of three referees, one of whom must be your current principal.

Ensure you explain your ability/experience to undertake the elements of the role as detailed in the role descriptions.
