Role Description/Criteria

Bethany Catholic Primary school is an innovative learning community with an emphasis on ensuring that all students experience success as learners. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, knowledgeable and skilled Administration/Receptionist Officer to join our school community.
 

Applications are invited from suitably experienced person for the full-time position (8:00am to 4:00pm), or part time (negotiable) of an Administration/Receptionist Officer to commence on Tuesday 27th January 2026. The salary and conditions are in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018.

This position may have the opportunity to be part of the new Bethany Campus- St Martha of Bethany opening in 2027.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate the following:

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • reception services, office management and administrative skills
  • team-based approach in a collegiate environment
  • commitment to the Bethany Child Safe Policy and Staff Code of Conduct
  • commitment to the ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture
  • ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community.

The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to work in a team environment and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.

The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check, a National Police Record Check and two referee checks.
