Role Description/Criteria

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Administration & Customer Service: Front office operations; communication management; record keeping; filing and archiving; event and meeting support; liaison with cleaners and maintenance. 

 

• Principal & Leadership Support: Provide professional administrative support to the Principal, including correspondence, documentation, confidential reports, and organisational support. 

 

• Enrolment Administration: Prep–Year 6 enrolments; Enquiry Tracker and eSIS data management; reporting and analysis; Prep Open Days and transitions; census (February/August); end-of-year rollover. 

 

• Finance & ICON Shared Services: Daily collaboration with ICON MACS Shared Services Centre; receipting and payments; deposits and fundraisers; purchasing and purchase orders; accounts support; CRT timesheets; staffroom supplies. 

 

• Digital Engagement: Newsletter (three per term); calendar management; publications; social media support (Instagram); privacy-compliant image use. 

 

• Student Care & Attendance: First aid in absence of School Nurse; attendance monitoring and follow-up; reporting to Principal and staff.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing, including knowledge and understanding of the 11 Child Safe Standards, and comply with the school’s Child Safe Policy, Code of Conduct, and all related procedures. Support the provision of a child-safe environment and demonstrate appropriate duty of care for students’ physical and mental wellbeing.

 

Professional Development 

Commit to ongoing professional learning relevant to the role, including ICON, eSIS, and census training, and maintain and develop ICT skills as technologies evolve. 

 

General Responsibilities 

Act within and support the Catholic ethos, values, and mission of the school. Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, demonstrate professional and collegiate relationships, attend required school events, and undertake other duties as directed by the Principal. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

• A relevant Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business, Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent post-secondary qualification. (Preferred) 

• High level of ICT skills relevant to administrative, financial, and communication tasks. 

• Current First Aid Certificate. 

• Current Working with Children Check. 

• Current Police Check. 

• Driver’s Licence or other acceptable proof of identity.
