Role Description/Criteria

We are seeking a teacher who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our committed staff each Wednesday and Thursday from the commencement of Term 2 2026, for the remainder of the school year. There is a possibility the position could become on-going. 

This is a part time position where the successful applicant will be teaching PE to 10 classes across two days and involve in-school sport events. 

The successful applicant will: 

  • have a strong commitment to Catholic identity at St Anne's
  • be able to plan and implement highly-structured programmes that connect to the Victorian curriculum
  • be able to work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships
  • engage in contemporary. evidence-based practices with proven ability to differentiate learning for students
  • have a deep understanding of the social and emotional learning needs of students and proven ability to support students' wellbeing development
  • have experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with students, families and colleagues
  • show a willingness to contribute to the spiritual and extra-curricula life of the school
  • have an understanding that our school community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students in our care.

Special Requirements

  • accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to undertake studies if the position became ongoing 
  • current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration (provide proof)
  • include the contact details of three referees
  • include copies of all teaching awards and your driver's licence
