Role Description/Criteria

Salesian College Chadstone is seeking a professional and welcoming Reception and Administration Officer to join our dynamic Administration Team.

This role works across both College campuses and is not specific to one campus. The successful applicant will provide reception and administrative support wherever required, ensuring consistency and collaboration across the College.

About the Role

As a key member of our Reception and Administration Team, you will be the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors, contributing to the smooth daily operation of the College.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing general and student reception areas
  • Welcoming visitors and supporting parent enquiries
  • Responding to phone calls and general enquiries
  • Managing student attendance processes (SIMON)
  • Providing administrative support across both campuses
  • Preparing correspondence and supporting College communications
  • Managing mail, deliveries and bookings
  • Assisting with first aid administration when required
  • Supporting general College events and administrative tasks

This position requires flexibility, professionalism and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy school environment.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and working with databases (SIMON, Synergetic or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise and problem-solve effectively
  • A collaborative and team-focused approach
  • A commitment to Child Safety and the values of a Catholic school in the Salesian tradition
