Role Description/Criteria
About the Role
The successful applicant will:
- Deliver individual and/or small group voice lessons
- Support students in preparing for concerts, productions and College performances
- Conduct Vocal Ensemble rehearsals and performances, including liturgical activities
- Incorporate movement and acting into vocal training for stage performance
- Work collaboratively with Performing Arts staff and fellow tutors
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the College’s singing program
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
- A high level of skill and experience as a Voice Tutor
- Ability to engage and inspire students
- Experience supporting students in musical theatre and stage performance preparation
- Strong knowledge of effective teaching and learning practices
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A collaborative and professional approach to working within a team environment
- Experience preparing students for AMEB examinations (desirable)
- A current Working With Children Check
