Role Description/Criteria
The Role
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic experienced Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our dedicated team in an ongoing 5 day position (30 hours) . This role involves working collaboratively with classroom teachers, Learning Diversity Leaders, and allied health staff to provide support for students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care.
- Build positive relationships with students and assist in creating engaging learning environments.
- Support the implementation of strategies in Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs).
- Facilitate small group intervention tasks in collaboration with teachers
- Support students’ sensory, regulation, processing, and language needs.
- Record adjustments and program notes in line with NCCD requirements.
- Participate in professional learning and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support school events, excursions, and camps as required.
- Uphold and promote the Catholic ethos of Holy Family Primary School.

- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Record Check.
- Certificate IV in Education Support preferable.
