Role Description/Criteria
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Classroom Teacher to join our staff in Term 1, 2027. The year level is yet to be determined.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a sound knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning practices and an ability to plan, implement and assess purposeful learning programs that respond to student needs. They will use assessment and evidence to inform their practice and support students to make meaningful progress in their learning.
The ability to differentiate learning and provide appropriate adjustments for students with diverse learning needs is essential. The successful applicant will establish clear expectations and routines and contribute to a positive classroom culture that supports student engagement, wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to develop respectful and productive relationships with students, families and colleagues. The successful applicant will work collaboratively within teams, contribute to shared planning and decision-making, and actively participate in the life of the school.
A commitment to professional learning, reflection and continuous improvement is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic Education and contribute positively to the Catholic identity and community of Corpus Christi.

Special Requirements
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable.
- A commitment to child safety and maintaining best practice to ensure the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children.
- A commitment to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of child safety practices.
- Have read and be committed to maintaining the standards set out in the MACS Code of Conduct.
- Have read and be aware of the attached statement on the Principles Regarding Catholic Education.
- Hold current VIT registration.
