Classroom Teacher Position
St Paul’s Primary School, Bentleigh is a warm, welcoming and inclusive Catholic learning community where students, staff and families are known, valued and supported. Commencement: January 27 2027.
The successful applicant will demonstrate :
- A commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of St Paul’s Primary School and the importance of Education in Faith.
- An understanding of and commitment to the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement, and their application in classroom practice.
- Sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and evidence-informed teaching practices, including principles from the Science of Learning.
- The ability to use assessment evidence to inform teaching, differentiation and support for diverse learners.
- The ability to create calm, inclusive and engaging learning environments with high expectations for all students.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- A commitment to professional learning, reflection, feedback and contributing positively to the St Paul’s community.
The successful applicant will have:
- Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Appropriate recognised teaching qualifications.
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to obtain accreditation.
- A commitment to meeting all relevant child safety, professional and employment requirements.
