Role Description/Criteria
Numeracy Leader – St Fidelis Catholic Primary School
St Fidelis Catholic Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified educational leader to join our school community in the position of Numeracy Leader.
This is a two-year Position of Leadership, commencing 27 January 2027.
We anticipate that applicants will have previous experience in a Position of Leadership, preferably as a Numeracy Leader, and ideally have undertaken further study in the area of Numeracy.
About the Role
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in:
- Facilitating collaborative numeracy planning with teaching teams across Foundation–Year 6
- Monitoring and evaluating student numeracy outcomes
- Tracking and analysing student data to inform teaching and learning
- Planning and coordinating targeted intervention programs
- Coordinating NAPLAN
- Supporting the implementation of the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement
- Leading and supporting whole-school numeracy improvement initiatives
- Undertaking other numeracy-related responsibilities as directed by the Principal or Teaching and Learning Leader
The successful applicant will hold full VIT registration and be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school.
