The reimagined Concert in the Park has provided opportunities for young musicians to share their talent, and the primary school winners have now been announced.

A feature of Catholic Education Week, the Concert in the Park is an annual event following the St Patrick’s Day Mass for schools to perform to a large audience. With restrictions preventing our usual celebration, the concert was reimagined as an online event with performances from Caroline Chisholm Catholic College, Braybrook, and Thomas Carr College, Tarneit.

The online performances were also a call for primary schools to submit their own performances, with a winning school from each region professionally filmed. Congratulations to the 2021 primary school winners:

• Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, Craigieburn West (northern region)
• St Augustine’s School, Frankston South (southern region)
• St Martin de Porres School, Laverton (western region)
• St Roch’s School, Glen Iris (eastern region).
