On Friday, the students and staff of St Fidelis’ School, Moreland, began the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence with the words of St Matthew: ‘Always treat others as you would like them to treat you’ (Mt 7: 12).
‘At St Fidelis, we bring our students’ voices to the forefront when it comes to bullying prevention’, said principal Manuela Watson. ‘Today our students wore orange and made posters as a visible action in our community. Students also engaged in open discussion and other school activities that helped the students to understand and say no to bullying.’
‘It is an important day on our national calendar and the St Fidelis calendar.’
