Students from Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne have honoured the spirit of the Anzacs in the 2021 Premier’s Sprit of Anzac Prize.

This year, the program gave students in Years 9–11 the opportunity to explore Australia’s proud and significant war and peacekeeping history. Students were able to submit their reflections as writing, artwork, music, technology or poetry, and were encouraged to seek first-hand experiences when developing their responses. As a result, a number of students received a $2,500 scholarship to support their education.

More than 500 students have been awarded the Premier’s Spirit of Anzac Prize since the program started in 2005, with 40 students receiving the prize in 2021. Congratulations to the following students from Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne:
