History:

Trinity Primary School (formerly St James School) has a close relationship with the parish, which dates back to 1935 when it was run by the Sisters of St Joseph. In more recent times we have experienced two mergers.

In 2006 St James Primary School, North Richmond, and St Ignatius Primary School, Richmond, merged to form Trinity Primary School. Then in 2008 we saw the closure of St John the Evangelist School, East Melbourne, and in 2009 Trinity Primary School incorporated St John’s students into the school population.
